Ali Richards speaks to Deborah Azzopardi – a self taught artist, born and bred in North London, and mother of three.
Her signature use of black line is inspired by licensing work she did with Disney images over ten years ago.
The close crops of the nubile bodies are soundbites of an eternal youth. Capturing youthful beauty before it's gone. The model's age and identity is ambiguous, but the feeling of a secret cheeky moment is conveyed.

Which item could you not leave home without? My handbag - like Mary Poppins I have so many things crammed into it.
What do you do when you get an artist block? I don't often get blocked but if I do I just turn up the volume on the radio!
What is your Favourite Colour? Electric blue
Favourite Poison? LINDT CHOCOLATE. ALL DAY LONG.
Luxury is... Spending an afternoon on a rowing boat with my family on Regents Park Lake. I've done it all my life. I'm a lousy rower but it's lots of fun. Everyone must do this at least once.
